I’ve been listening to a lot of CAKE lately. I’ve always loved them, but something lately has been calling me to listen through their greatest hits. I just bought a Comfort Eagle CD the other day. I’ve been a fan of that dog. for a long time. They’re a lesser known band so I feel really cool for knowing them. Their album Retreat From The Sun is one of my all-time favs which I go back to a lot. I feel like Pavement is very similar to that dog. in a way. Both of their songs feel like fall to me even though it’s not fall anymore.

It’s starting to get warm again, and like I always say: Spring is the time of year to listen to Simon & Garfunkel with the windows open. I always kick into some hypnotic indie and/or folk this time of year to counteract the stress of finals. If you’re feeling stressed (or anything, really) I’m sure you’ll love these tunes, too.

I’ve been really obsessed with Lady Gaga lately (but when am I not?). I’ve been cycling between The Fame/The Fame Monster, Born This Way, and occasionally ARTPOP. I also just recently listened through STRFKR’s self titled album for the first time and I love it.
